Confessions of a Life Coach

So while I’ve been working to update my business and bring it into 2009’s SEO and social media world; I’ve stalled, procrastinated and basically run a muck with researching what is out there and what everyone else is doing! Okay so I do know this: that I must follow the lead of my own leading and I must find that burning desire so that I inspire my action; and yet, I still get caught. I’m human, I’m not perfect and certainly what I’m going through is not unfamiliar to what I coach about! I’m about to embark on a change and it’s exciting and yet totally overwhelming at times. I love change, that’s why I coach about change and yet it’s so much easier for me to be the facilitator of change rather than be the change.

So if I’m really going to earn the confidence of my marketplace and equally so; my own trust then I had better walk my talk and get into action. I’m doing a teleseminar on Sept 25th,“Seven Steps to Change the Status Quo for your Life and Business” and this is a first for me. I’ve facilitated countless group sessions, workshops and the like but this is live on the phone and not face to face. See, I love to work with the energy of a group or simply work with the dynamics in a room. So how will I do this over the phone? I will stop and remind myself to share my story, offer valuable information, listen and be real.

There are so many new things I plan to do in the next 3 months and I really want to embrace all the ways I can share this. I plan to leverage what it is that makes me tick, come alive and be in service of those who are really trying to make things different, deal with the big stuff and manage all the stuff that comes along when we change. I hate it when I procrastinate and yet I know there’s meaning in it -yes there is -just wait a minute…AH HA! For me, it means something creative is bubbling up and it’s just a matter of me mustering up enough courage to actually manifest it.
