Free Hands

Being a mother of a 3 month old and a 3 year old leaves little time and free hands to write yet the urge comes upon me like a calling. A calling that seems to come once a month and oddly within the same calendar date. Why does this happen and how does this happen? I believe we have an internal rhythm, similar to the lunar cycle and if we pay attention and listen, something creative emerges.

What would you do if you had free hands?
What would you hear is you were silent?
What would you create if you felt that inner calling?

My baby cries, I’m no longer hands free but I leave with inquiries to consider and acutely aware that the rhythm of life has many callings…including a crying baby!
